To heighten the launch, we designed a series of gallery-style activations that mirrored the visual tone of the book. In each installation, individual pages were suspended from the ceiling in dimly lit, sound-controlled spaces. Ambient audio and gently shifting lighting recreated the atmosphere of deep-sea immersion — quiet, mysterious, and a little surreal. Guests were encouraged to walk slowly through the floating pages, turning the exhibition into a living extension of the book’s storytelling.
To build early momentum and attract collectors, the first 300 copies of Beneath the Ink were offered as a special edition. Each came with a hand-numbered art print, a signed artist statement, and custom wrapping using screen-printed dive charts from the book’s concept phase. The exclusivity and craftsmanship helped drive pre-launch interest and led to a full sell-out within the first week of release.
